Service and damage reporting

Everyday retail activity can cause damage. It happens worldwide.

Mannequins and display equipment work in busy stores. Dressing, moving, cleaning and normal customer traffic can lead to chips, cracks, loose joints or worn finishes. Reporting it early helps us restore the display standard quickly.

The problem SCM solves

A damaged mannequin becomes part of the customer experience.

A once-off mannequin purchase solves the installation. It does not solve what happens next.

01Scratches, chips and wear accumulate quietly.

02Missing parts take time to identify and replace.

03Stores must pack, transport and manage repairs.

04The display stays incomplete while everyone waits.

05Your merchandise is presented below the intended brand standard.

How SCM works

Restore the display first. Manage the repair in the background.

01

Set your store standard

Choose the body types, poses, colours, finishes, bases and quantities that suit your merchandise and store format.

02

DEC prepares the support stock

We manufacture and hold agreed replacement units so your stores are not left waiting when a mannequin needs attention.

03

Report wear or damage

Your team simply tells DEC which mannequin is scratched, chipped, worn, damaged or incomplete.

04

We swap and collect

Within four working days, DEC supplies a replacement at the store and removes the damaged unit for repair.

The replacement is supplied in the same agreed style and finish. A swap-out restores the approved display standard; style changes are planned separately as part of the next range review.

A manageable commercial model

At the startSCM deposit

An initial amount covering the agreed product setup and freight to the store.

Each monthSCM service payment

The 24-month journey

Clear at the start. Flexible at the end.

The initial SCM agreement runs for 24 months. During that period, the mannequins remain the property of DEC while your stores have full use of them and ongoing SCM protection.

Month 0Install

Agree the range, pay the deposit and place the mannequins in store.

Months 1–17Protect

Use the range with ongoing care and four-working-day swap-out support.

From month 18Review

Begin discussing the next style, refresh or continued maintenance route.

Month 24Choose

Select the end-of-term option that best suits the store network.

After the completed 24 months

Four practical ways forward.

End-of-term benefits apply once the initial agreement has been completed and the account is fully paid.

01

Keep or redeploy

Retain the existing mannequins in the original store or trickle them down to another location. Packing, transport and reinstallation can be quoted separately.

02

Continue maintenance support

Keep the existing range under maintenance-only support for a further 24 months at 50% of the final-year monthly SCM fee.

03

Refresh and trade in

Select a new style and begin a new 24-month SCM cycle. Receive a non-cash trade-in credit equal to 40% of the original SCM deposit when the existing mannequins are returned.

04

Return the mannequins

Return the mannequins to DEC and conclude the arrangement without entering a new SCM cycle.

Built store by store

SCM is not only for national retailers.

The model can protect one flagship, support a first-store test, standardise a growing regional group or roll out across a national network. We build the recommendation around what each store needs.

SCM questions

The practical details.

Can we choose the mannequin styles and colours?

Yes. Every plan begins with agreed body types, poses, colours, finishes, bases and quantities for your retail environment.

What happens when a mannequin is damaged?

Your team reports the unit. DEC supplies a prepared replacement at the store within four working days and collects the damaged mannequin.

Can we change styles during the initial term?

The swap-out service replaces a damaged mannequin with the same agreed style. It does not provide unlimited style changes. From approximately month 18, we can begin planning a refreshed style for the next cycle.

Who owns the mannequins during the agreement?

During the initial 24 months, the mannequins remain the property of DEC while your stores have full use of them. Once the term is completed and the account is fully paid, the end-of-term choices become available.

Can the agreement be cancelled early?

After the first six months, the agreement may be cancelled with 30 days’ written notice. The deposit remains non-refundable, monthly payments remain due until the cancellation date, and DEC collects the mannequins. Keep and trade-in benefits apply only after completing the full 24-month term.

How is SCM priced?

We prepare a store-by-store proposal based on the selected styles, quantities and locations. It sets out the SCM deposit, monthly payment and the exact mannequins covered.

Can SCM support an existing mannequin fleet?

Yes. DEC can review the current fleet, its condition and the required store standard, then recommend a practical phased route into SCM.
